Since the first isolation of graphene, scientific development regarding synthesis methodologies and related applications has been inspiringly progressing. However, the real commercialization of graphene has been far from an overnight success. Our group aims to utilize the basic principles in chemistry and material sciences to explore the frontier and commercial applications of graphene.
Synthesis determines the future. We are striving to develop structure-controlled CVD synthesis and reliable post-growth transfer of graphene films, both of which are essential for specific applications. We also aim to explore real applications of graphene, including membrane and device-based applications via chemical modification, surface, and substrate engineering.
Postdoc positions are open for applicants with Ph.D. degrees in various backgrounds, including Physical Chemistry, Nanomaterials, and Polymer Materials. We also warmly welcome graduate and undergraduate students to join our group.
